THIS MADE THE CUT BECAUSE

Nestled in the rolling hills of the Cotswolds countryside, the Cotswolds Distillery has been capturing attention since its establishment in 2014. As a leading force in the burgeoning English Whisky movement, the distillery produces an elegant, fruity single malt that can easily rival any Speyside dram. And this cask does just that - we’re big fans!

PAIRING SUGGESTIONS

Pair this juicy, tropical fruity whisky with a juicy beer such as Small Beer Co Hazy IPA. Brewed in South London, and coming in at a breezy 2.5% abv, this sessionable beer is big on those citrus, tropical fruit notes - a dreamy pairing.

OTHER COOL THINGS ABOUT THIS WHISKY

Matured in New American Oak. A small proportion of the distillery’s whisky is matured in casks other than ex-bourbon or STR, and we got a great pick with this one. A cask type usually used for the maturation of Bourbon (which, by law, must be matured in new American white oak casks), it’s rare to find The Cotswolds Whisky solely matured in it, and the spice, vanilla and coconut character that this cask usually delivers turns the fruity profile of this whisky tropical!
